Cambodian Prime Minister’s Telegram Channel Has the 2nd Most Followers in the World

PURSAT: Prime Minister Hun Sen now has more than 617,000 followers on his official Telegram channel, the second largest number of followers on this platform in the world.

Speaking at a meeting with residents in Bramoy commune, Veal Veng district in Pursat province on Tuesday, 14 March 2023, Prime Minister Hun Sen stated that his Telegram channel facilitates access to information for the people.

Currently, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, has the highest number of followers on his Telegram channel with more than 900,000 followers.

"After the [Ukrainian President] it’s me,” shared Prime Minister Hun Sen. “I will continue to rise because there are more CPP members who will continue to receive messages from their party president."

The Prime Minister also announced that he will share the story of the new television series, ‘Son Under the Full Moon’, based on the true story of his own life, through his Telegram channel to make it easier for people to watch the show on their phones.

The Prime Minister’s official Telegram channel was established on 7 May 2022.
